They Say Pretty Fades, but Fly is Forever
9:00 PMI thought it was about time that I explain the title of my humble blog and why I decided to model my blog after its meaning.
Though I probably shouldn't say this out loud, but the line comes from a commercial. And a cell phone service provider commercial at that!
A couple years back, AT&T had a range of commercials showcasing how cool it was to have the best cell phone service and how there may be many trends, the best things are always in style.
Something about the last line really caught my attention and got me thinking. "You know what they say, pretty fades, but fly is forever."
And you know what? Its right!
It relates to being the best kind of person, instead of trying to be the best looking or most the fashionable.
Being fly is something you have to work on from the inside. It's about being confident in your own skin and emitting that to those around you. When you're fly, you don't have to convince others of your worth because it's undeniable and people can't help but see it.
That's what I wanted to teach myself and then teach everyone else. When you're fly , you feel great in your own skin and show the world you confidence.
So next time you're feeling down about yourself, remember. Though you may not be the best, you are fly. And Fly is Forever.
